Kennel di Sforzando is a family kennel in the Piedmont of North Carolina dedicated to producing beautiful, sound, and healthy Leonbergers with strong presence of body and mind. We strive to produce Leonbergers who can thrive anywhere from the couch to the show ring and contribute as a loving and balanced family member wherever they go.

We've Hit The Road With Our Newest Champ: Brubeck

Brubecks Take Five di Sforzando has been looking good in the Mid-Atlantic, taking Best of Breed almost every time she steps into the Leonberger ring and winning over fifteen Best of Breeds as well as multiple Best in Miscellaneous Groups prior to AKC recognition. Since July 1, the momentum has kept up with multiple Winners Bitch, multiple Best of Breeds, and a Group 1 Bred By Exhibitor placement. Happy Birthday to the Leonberger Puppies in Our "C" Litter

Our C Litter puppies turn one year old on June 12th. Happy Birthday! We are very pleased with the pairing between Ch. Nika von Alpensee "Ika" and Attitude for Me by Providence "Jefferson" and are now entertaining inquiries about our "D" Litter planned for Spring/Summer 2011 between "Bru" LCA Ch. Brubecks Take 5 di Sforzando and "Destry" LCA Ch. Joshua von Alpensee. Folks interested in adopting a Leonberger from this future litter may contact us.

Upcoming Events for our Leonbergers

July and August feature multiple show opportunities for the Sforzando crew. Upcoming shows include Greenville, SC; Salem, VA; Harrisburg, PA; Raleigh, NC; and Greensboro, NC. We will be participating in judge's education at the Greenville, SC show and also participating in the AKC's Responsible Dog Owners Day in Raleigh, NC.

You can never know if Leonbergers are the perfect breed for you unless you get to know some! We are happy to share our Leonbergers with interested folks by appointment. Our Leonbergers are very friendly and children are welcome. Leonberger gatherings are also a wonderful place to meet Leonbergers and Leonberger fanciers.
