Our Leonberger Litters

Sforzando's Leonberger Puppies

Kennel di Sforzando is a family kennel in the Piedmont of North Carolina dedicated to producing beautiful, sound, and healthy Leonbergers with strong presence of body and mind. Breeding only occasionally, we strive to produce Leonbergers who can thrive anywhere from the couch to the show ring and contribute as a loving and balanced family member wherever they go.

"F" Litter

Our F Litter may be coming in the summer of 2012. Current plans are to use a fantastic male Leonberger, "Destry" - LCA CH Joshua von Alpensee with GCH CH Brubecks Take 5 di Sforzando. This will be a frozen, surgical implant, so the litter - if we get one - can be expected to be very small. You can follow our plan on our Facebook Page.

"D" & "E" Litter

Our D Litter arrived on May 24th, 2011 with Ika (LCA CH. Nika von Alpensee) delivering three boy and three girl Leonberger puppies. On May 26th, Bru (GCH Brubecks Take 5 di Sforzando) delivered a single female puppy. The "D" Litter is a repeat of our "B" Litter below which produced wonderful Leonbergers. Pups will be going to wonderful homes in Wisconsin, Tennessee, Arizona, Maryland, North Carolina, and Virginia at the end of the summer.

"C" Litter

Our C Littter of ten Leonberger puppies arrived on June 12, 2009! LCA CH. Nika von Alpensee "Ika" and Attitude for Me by Providence "Jefferson" produced eight boys and two girls who went to their new homes in mid-August. Ika is the daughter of Multi Ch. Leoniitan Washable Lion and Ch. Geneva von Alpensee and Jefferson is the son of Ch. Darius von Alpensee and Ch. Indian Summer von Sissy-Hauss. Jefferson is a half brother of our B Litter's father, LCA CH Cherrywoods Lion Sleeps Tonight, and we had another group of fantastic Leonbergers with sweet temperaments. "B" Litter

Our "B" litter of seven Leonberger puppies was born on March 12th, 2008. LCA CH Nika von Alpensee and LCA CH Cherrywoods Lion Sleeps Tonight (Rafiki) produced five beautiful Leonberger girls and two handsome Leonberger boys. They are very happy in their loving, new homes. "A" Litter

Our "A" litter of four Leonberger puppies was born on June 15th, 2004. ForeverGreens Gaea and LCA Ch. Mountain Vista's Ancho produced four Leonberger puppies: three boys and one girl. They were an absolute joy to have and did a great job training some new Leonberger breeders! Check out the gallery for more photos.
